Color Be Me.

I love color, and a friend of mine captured my feelings about it in a poem.  She wishes to remain anonymous.

You're color addicted.

It's hit you real bad.

The primaries and secondaries

are the lest of this fad.

​

The golds and the silvers

The mauves and the rusts.

Ther'es simply no color

that you wouldn't trust.

​

It's an affction, I know

and you're not to be blamed

for the crimsons & periwinkles

that glow from your frame.

​

And you needn't be worried

though there isn't a cure.

There've been others who've

taken this color-mad tour.

​

So put on the vermllion,

don the purple, the blue,

and by the way, Friend,
